A Mini Project

 About a year ago, I helped a friend with a moving sale and I was the recipient of some of the left overs.  One was a clear glass container shaped like a very large and very short canister.  The question was, "What do you do with it?" Then a few days ago I was reading a design blogger I follow and saw the idea this container was meant for.  (Okay, maybe not, but it was it's fate now.) I forgot to get a picture of it empty, but here it is after I added some fine sand and a few pebbles I had on hand. I remembered seeing some small shells at Bricoleur, a wonderful little antique, art, camera, lamp, and the list goes on shop nearby. I was there shortly after they opened today and I came home with exactly what I needed. I added these to the container and finished the shortest, easiest project ever. The only thing left to do is place it somewhere in the house.  I am thinking the coffee table in the living room might be just the place. Next to my VERY large dictionary,...
