I have officially retired after 32 1/2 years at the same job. Naturally I took my personal items home with me. One is a photograph taken by a terrific photographer named Wendy Werner. She also happens to be a friend whose work I admire very much.
This is the piece I brought home from the office and carried from room to room in my house trying to decide where I liked it most.
I finally settled on my bedroom. It will be the first thing I see when I wake up every morning. I think it looks lovely against the color of the wall.
This is one of Wendy's photographs that hangs in my kitchen. This looks like a black and white photograph but actually it is not. The roof of the Chinese pavilion is black and the fresh snow gives the illusion of a black/white photo. If you look closely you can see the wheat color of the vegetation in the front.
This is a favorite of mine too. I get to see it when I visit my daughter. She has this hanging in her entry.
Snapshots of these photographs do not do them justice so for better quality and a much more extensive showing, check them here.

This one also belongs to my daughter.
