While it is still July, I thought I better post my red, white, and blue party.
I don't doubt it will surface again in another color for another event.
It is really made to hold Christmas cards but the stars are a perfect July centerpiece.
You may remember my post on mercury glass vases for the Winter holidays.
Those same vases and part of the arrangement was recycled for Spring.
And once again, the same arrangement but with stars of red and blue.
Tissue paper and netting in the appropriate colors and they lived to see another holiday.
No real fireworks but a celebration of that caliber just the same.
Raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries provided the right colors for dessert.
A pretty great day all around.
I'm hoping that retirement means those waiting projects will be completed faster and the blogs about them will follow at the same pace.
Since my retirement coincided with my July birthday, I decided to celebrate my new found freedom and independence.
I picked this up at a garage sale and sprayed it silver.
