My daughter loves to cook. To top that, everything she makes is divine. So it makes sense that Thanksgiving is her favorite holiday. We know that is one day when it is all about the food. Oh, and being thankful for the delicious and plentiful bounty.
I offered to host the feast at my house because I love setting the table and planning the decorations. I have a good size house but, even so, seating 20 people for dinner can be a little challenging. It’s always good to plan for one extra. My experience has been that someone brings an unexpected guest. This year, much to my surprise, it turns out to be my daughter who “uped” the guest list by one.
Little Gabriel was due to arrive Dec. 15. But he made his appearance 5 1/2 weeks early. I’m guessing he wanted to be part of the Thanksgiving festivities as well.
He weighed in at 5 lbs. 12 oz. Just think, our turkey will be almost four times that size.
Baby and mother are doing fine. And for that we are VERY thankful.
Did I not say everything my daughter makes is DIVINE?
Beautiful. The perfect guest.
