I picked this candle holder up at Rocket Century's half off sidewalk sale. Rocket Century is a great mid-century resale shop about three blocks from my house.
As you can see, the cups were a bit rusty. I did sand them in preparation for painting.
Black seemed like the most versatile color since I wasn't sure just where I was going to use it.
My first thought was to put it in the foyer but that room seems to have all it can handle. This was just one more accessory that room didn't need.
Temporarily it will sit on the kitchen window sill until I find just the right spot.
Although I can see pulling it into service on the buffet when needed.
The neon feature in Picasa does a spectacular job of highlighting shapes....just sayin'
So, all in all, I think this holder will be a nice accessory to have on hand.

It adds a lot of candle power without taking up much table space and it adds some nice height to a tablescape.

I really like the tea light holder. I think you will use it a lot more than you realize. It gives off a very artistic light.
