Because orange is not a color that works well with my decor, I was delighted to find white and blue pumpkins this year.
I intended to use them in my new kitchen on the island, but they were a bit overwhelming in that location.
Divide and conquer seemed to be the way to go. I chose one for the coffee table in the living room and...
paired the other blue one with a white one on the dining room table.
The early morning sun coming through the windows plays nicely on my fall displays.
The nice part is, the blue ones tend to look more gray in some light, which compliments my color scheme very well.
Same pumpkin...different light.
I have to say, I've gotten my money's worth admiring them in the changing light.
The design is all in the natural colors, shapes, lines and patterns of the wheat spays, pine cones and curves of the pumpkins.
And the lovely part about fall decorations is....there is no need to pack them up and haul them to the third floor storage closet.
